Artist's StatementArt is like a sport! You have to keep practicing to get better. Each time you practice you improve and get stronger. Just like an athlete must dedicate time and effort to his sport, an artist has to dedicate time, and determination to want to succeed.Art is my sport. It allows me to practice in three different mediums, and I never get bored. The ultimate goal for me is to complete a beautiful painting. I get in the zone when I paint in my studio. Listening to music and experimenting brings out my energy to work and paint for hours. There are moments which are very spiritual when a painting I am working on tells me it’s time to stop painting, and I do. Each human being has a passion within their soul, mine happens to be art. |
