Welcome to the Vandergriff Studio on-line gallery. California artist, Hilda Vandergriff, is inspired by nature, insects, flowers and animals. Hilda works in a variety of art mediums. In her watercolor paintings she uses bold colors and loose washes. Hilda incorporates eastern and western art techniques into her mixed media art. Hilda also paints traditional Chinese brush paintings and uses Suminagashi techniques. Visit the gallery for a glimpse of Vandergriff art. Hilda has an upcoming exhibition at the Artisana Gallery in Pacific Grove, Monterey, California. Featuring a Spring Collection Theme. Exhibition runs March 1 to March 31, 2012. Reception is on March 2, 2012 from 5 to 8 pm. |
